Freedom fighter passes away

TIRUPATI: Freedom fighter and Gandhian Gandrakota Sivaramamurthy (84) passed away on Tuesday night at his Khadi Colony residence here. A votary of khadi and village industries activities, he founded the Society for Development of Rural Sericulture Industry and the Akademy of Gandhian Studies here. He is survived by three sons and two daughters.
