Arunkumar meets Karunanidhi

CHENNAI: V. Arunkumar, All India Congress Committee representative in-charge of party affairs in Tamil Nadu, on Wednesday met Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi at his residence.

He was accompanied by Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president K.V. Thangkabalu and Congress legislature party leader D.Sudharssanam.

Mr. Arunkumar was meeting Mr. Karunanidhi for the first time after he took over as party representative in charge of Tamil Nadu.

Talking to newsmen later, Mr. Arunkumar said it was only a courtesy call. — Special Correspondent
