VCK meeting to discuss Tamils issue

CHENNAI: The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) will convene a meeting of like-minded parties and organisations here on January 10 to discuss the Sri Lankan Tamils issue.

In a statement here on Wednesday, party president Thol.Thirumavalavan said it was the responsibility of Tamils here to save the ‘suffering Tamils” in the island nation.

He had already met Pattali Makkal Katchi leader S. Ramadoss, Dravidar Kazhagam president K.Veeramani and Tamil Desiya Iyakkam president P.Nedumaran and would be meeting some more leaders.

The State executive of the party will also meet on January 9, the statement added. — Special Correspondent
