Jamia organises lecture on Islam

NEW DELHI: The Department of Educational Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia here has organised the Sureshchandra Shukla Memorial Lecture that will be delivered by Rubina Saigol at the FTK Conference Hall on the campus this coming Monday.

Dr. Saigol will speak on “Muslims and modernity: Rationalism and orthodoxy in Islam”. Vice-Chancellor Mushirul Hasan will chair the lecture, while NCERT Director Krishna Kumar will give an introduction.
