Encroached land recovered

BANGALORE: The Bangalore Urban Forest Division personnel on Tuesday recovered 10 acres of forest land encroached upon near Kaggalipura. The department had booked cases against four farmers for alleged encroachment of land in B.M. Kaval Forest in 2006. The farmers were given time to hand over the encroached land. The personnel recovered the land and dug a cattle-proof trench around it. — Staff Reporter
