Automotive Expo 2009 begins today

Hi-tech: The vehicles that will be on display at Bangalore International Automotive Expo 2009 on the Palace Ground in Bangalore from Friday.

Bangalore: Bangalore International Automotive Expo 2009 (BIAE 09) will be held at the Palace Grounds here between January 9 and 11.

500 brands

As many as 500 world class brands, designs and technologies in automotives, auto-components and accessories will be showcased.

One lakh people are expected to visit the exhibition. There will be seminars and interactive sessions on the current and future trends in the industry.

Support

While Winmedia Communications Pvt. Ltd. is promoting the expo, India Trade Promotion Organisation, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Automotive Research Association of India, Western India Automobile Association, Federation of Indian Automobile Associations and Automobile Association of South India are supporting the event.

Visitors will get to see, feel and experience everything from the extravagant to the modest.

Participants

Participants include Maruti, Hyundai, Mahindra, Hindustan Motors, Audi, Nissan and Yamaha showcasing cars, motorcycles and accessories.

A product line up reflecting the latest trends and the best of automobile industry will include manufacturers, batteries, accessories, entertainment systems, equipment, tools, electronics, security systems, and so on.

Hub

BIAE 09 has chosen Bangalore as it is the hub of most of the manufacturing units of Indian automobile industry.
