Delhi Audit wins men’s title

NEW DELHI: Delhi Audit clinched the men’s title in the Inter-Ministry badminton tournament at the AIIMS Gymkhana here on Thursday.

The results:

Men (final): Delhi Audit beat Armed Force Headquarters 3-0 (Vijay Sharma bt Shashi Parkash 21-12, 21-13; Rajeev Sharma bt Rahul Bhardwaj 21-12, 21-6; Rajeev Sharma & Sunil Yadav bt Shailendra Pawah & Amit Tyagi 22-20, 22-20).

Third place: AIIMS bt Department of Posts 3-2 (Vijay Sharma bt V.E. Thomas 21-9, 21-8; Sanjay lost to Manmeet Singh 8-21, 9-21; Dr. Pankaj & Dr. Nanal lost to Manmeet Singh & V.E. Thomas 12-21, 15-21; Dr. Nanal bt Gaurav 21-15, 21-10; Dr. Biplab & Dr. Vijay bt K. Gaurav & Vikas 21-10, 21-15).
