Shahbaaz Khan rallies to win

MUMBAI: Shahbaaz Khan recovered from 1-3 down to get the better of international Rupesh Shah 4-3 in Group ‘D’ on the second day of the Nahar Group-MIG Cricket Club invitation snooker tournament on Thursday.

Defending champion Manan Chandra produced breaks of 73 and 91 in Group ‘A’ against Shravan Mohta to win 4-1.

M.S. Arun went down 1-4 to the experienced Alok Kumar, though two wins on the first day ensures that he remains in the fray for qualifying from Group ‘B’.
