Soniya Mol shines

VIJAYAWADA: Soniya Mol’s six for 29 haul for Kerala against Andhra was the highlight of the South Zone inter-State (two-day) senior women league tournament at Anantapur, according to information reaching here on Thursday.

All the three matches ended in a draw. Friday is a rest day.

The scores: Tamil Nadu 270 for seven in 105 overs (T. Kamini 130 n.o.,) drew with Hyderabad 154 for four in 80.1 overs (Mamata Kanojia 52 n.o., Rajini 52).

Goa 266 for nine drew with Karnataka 269 for five in 78 overs (Karuna Jain 118 n.o., Mamata 46, Shika Pandey three for 61).

Kerala 117 and 96 for five in 49 overs (Rakhee 40 n.o.,) drew with Andhra 181 in 73.5 overs (Rameswari 44, Silpa Chandran 43, Soniya Mol six for 29).
