Free coaching academy planned

TIRUCHI: The District Welfare Committee will shortly set up an IAS Coaching Academy in the city. It will be established on the sprawling Kalaiarangam (Thyagaraja Bhagavathar Mandram) campus, close to the Central Bus Stand, and will cater to aspiring youths from delta region.

The academy would also offer coaching for other competitive examinations, Collector T. Soundiah, who is the committee chairman, told The Hindu.

All coaching would be offered free to benefit the poorer sections.

The academy will be set up under a separate trust/society so that donations can be raised.
