Plans to finalise tender process by February-end Heritage spots to be made attractive for tourists KADAPA: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy sanctioned Rs. 38 crore for developmental works under the tourism heritage circuit in Kadapa district, Collector M.T. Krishna Babu said on Thursday. Addressing a meeting of tourism and revenue officials and APITCO consultant Lakshminarayana in his camp office here, the Collector directed the officials to ground all developmental works under tourism heritage circuit in the district by the end of March. He wanted an action plan and estimates prepared by the end of this month and finalisation of the tender process by end of February. He felt that works at significant temples and historical places must be innovative so as to shape them into attractive spots in the interest of showcasing both heritage and tourism. Mr.Lakshminarayana said, plans were being drawn on each visit to places like Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy temple at Devunikadapa and other pilgrim centres of Pushpagiri and Polathala.
