Arunachalam is champion

TIRUCHI: K.R. Arunachalam (SRTS I) defeated Taj Mukhram (WRTS II) 21-18, 17-21, 21-9 to win the singles title at the Power Grid inter-region badminton tournament here on Friday.

Other results (all finals): Doubles: A.K. Shukla & Tapan Das (Corporate Centre) bt M.G. Singh & K.H.D. Singh (ERTS) 21-19, 21-17. Team championship: ERTS bt Corporate Centre 3-0.
