National at Cherai

KOCHI: The Kerala Yachting Association will host the National inland optimist championship in Cherai, near here, from January 26 to 29.

The event is organised by the National Optimist Association under the aegis of the Yachting Association of India. The championship, which is open to children between seven and 17 years, is making its debut in Kerala.

Nearly 60 youngsters, including 20 from Kerala, will figure in the event. — Principal Correspondent
