Ranbaxy initiates Phase I studies

NEW DELHI: Ranbaxy Laboratories has initiated phase I clinical studies on its respiratory inflammations lead compound, developed in collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline. It will receive a milestone payment for initiating Phase I clinical studies and will be responsible for conducting phase II clinical studies, the Gurgaon-based firm said in a statement.
