Deichmann beats City Police

VISAKHAPATNAM: Deichmann FC beat City Police 2-0 in the sixth DRM Trophy football tournament at the Railway Stadium here on Friday. Tilak and Sri Prasad scored for the winner.

Sampath Memorial FC downed Polamamba FC (Chittivalasa) with a second-half goal by Peerlu.

On Thursday SMFC edged out Sri Kodandarama FC 5-4 via tiebreaker. Murali, Satish Kumar, Raja, Shankar and Sagar converted their penalties while Kumar, Gurunadh, Santosh and T. Gurunath were successful for SKRFC.
