NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram on Friday said his proposed visit to the United States was cancelled as he was dealing with the situation arising out of agitations by truck operators and officers of oil companies. “I was not going by a truck to the U.S.,” he said in a lighter vein while addressing the media. Mr. Chidambaram was to share evidence with the authorities in the U.S. on the role of Pakistan-based terrorists in the November 26, 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
