Double for Narendranath

VISAKHAPATNAM: S. Narendranath of Hyderabad and S. Parekh of Maharashstra won a double each in the fourth CMR-AISTA veterans tennis tournament at the Officers’ Club, here on Saturday.

The results (all finals): Above-45 years: Singles: S. Narendranath (Hyd) bt R.E. Sudarshana Rao (Vskp) 6-1, 6-3. Doubles: Narendranath & K. Mehar Prakash bt R.V. Rama Raju & R.N. Ramesh 6-3, 6-4.

Above-55: Singles: S. Settu (TN) bt V. Ramamohana Rao (Hyd) 6-1, 6-3. Doubles: A. Rambabu & U. Krishnamraju bt D.S.N. Raju & Settu 6-4, 7-5.

Above-65: Singles: Parekh (Mah) bt V.R. Kulkarni 6-2, 6-3. Doubles: Parekh & C.B. Raju (Hyd) bt Kulkarni & C. Radhakrishnan (TN) 6-1, 6-4.
