Bank employees’ meet concludes

KOCHI: CITU president M. K. Pandhe has called for unity among bank employees to protect the financial sector. He was addressing the valedictory session of the all India convention of Canara Bank Staff Union at Pune. The convention had been inaugurated by the Kerala Planning Commission vice-chairman Prabhat Patnaik on January 9. The meeting elected G. M. V. Naik as the president, K. V. George as general secretary and Vijay Arora as treasurer, according to a press release.
