Theft attempt in bank

NELLORE: Some unidentified persons made a vain bid to rob the Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), Vedayapalem branch, in the city on Sunday night. The miscreants gained entry by cutting the lock of the main door with a hacksaw. They escaped with the CC camera monitor installed in the bank and did not made any attempt to break the cash chest. — Staff Reporter
