Integrated e-health portal launched

HYDERABAD: A new web-based system for easy delivery of healthcare services was officially launched here on Monday.

The eMediReport.com is an integrated e-health web portal which supports the healthcare providers to improve patient care and overall efficiency, said Managing Director of the city-based company eMediReport G. Sudhakar.

eMediReport provides a platform for patients, physicians, pharmacies and diagnostic centres in the network for fast and secure communication, he said.

The online web based application being used in Global Hospitals and three other hospitals in city helps doctors access patient’s previous health records, prescriptions and test reports anywhere anytime and helps in quick decision making to arrive on final diagnosis, says Dr. A.Gopala Krishna Gokhale, cardiothoracic surgeon, Global Hospitals.

Doctors can refer tests online to diagnostic centres and patients to experts in peer group for second opinion.
