Shankar, Saroja win titles

BANGALORE: A.T. Shankar of Moodabidre won the men’s race in the State cross country championship held at Hosadurga on Sunday.

In the women’s race, Saroja Gowda, also of Moodabidre, claimed the top spot.

Men: 12-km: A.T. Shankar (Moodabidre); Women (8-km): Saroja Gowda (Moodabidre).

Boys: Under-20: 8-km: Rajan Singh (Blr); Under-18: 6-km: Y.K. Devna Naik (Moodabidre); Under-16: 3-km: Shettappa Nandi (Bgm).

Girls: Under-20: 6-km: Thippava S. Sannaki (Mys); Under-18: 4-km: S. Shwetha (Shimoga); Under-16: 3-km: H.M. Pallavi (Shimoga).
