Legislative Council poll on Feb. 6

HYDERABAD: Election of a member to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council in the Mahabubnagar-Ranga Reddy-Hyderabad Graduates’ Constituency will be held on February 6 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., a release from the Returning Officer of the Graduates Constituency and GHMC Special Officer informed.

The nomination papers from the candidate or by any proposers will be received from January 13 and last date for filing nominations is January 20. The nomination papers can be submitted to Assistant Returning Officer (Elections) GHMC K. Sudhakar at Face to Face hall, GHMC head office, on January 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The scrutiny of the nomination papers will be taken up on January 21 and last date for withdrawals will be January 23 before 3 p.m.
