HYDERABAD: The New Delhi-Secunderabad Andhra Pradesh Express (Train no.2724) which left Delhi on January 11 is running late by nine hours following the derailment of a goods train between Misrod Habibganj, in Bhopal division of the West Central Railway on Sunday. A press release issued by the South Central Railway said here on Monday that despite the late arrival of the City-bound train, the AP Express (Train no.2723) will leave here on January 13 on time. DivertedIt said five trains, including Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Express, Nizamuddin-Tirupati AP Sampark Express, were being diverted following the derailment. Six trains, including Nizamuddin-Secunderabad Rajdhani Express (eight hours) and Nizamuddin-Hyderabad Dakshin Express (six hours), were running late by six to ten hours, according to the release. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
