Collector orders setting up of warehouse at Erranapalli village

KRISHNAGIRI: Collector V.K. Shanmugam has ordered the Sulagiri Block Development Officer (BDO) to immediately take steps to set up a warehouse at Erranapalli village following a request from the villagers.

He was inspecting the road development works at Sulagiri Union at a cost of Rs. 1.33 crore recently.

At Chennapalli panchayat in Krishnagiri Union, the Collector inspected the road work taken up at an estimated cost of Rs. 5 lakh on Periyapallam-Mottupallam Road to Chennapalli-Erranapalli Road under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.

The Collector also ordered financial assistance to Poovappan, a physically challenged person.

In Chennapalli panchayat, he inspected Erranapalli Road laying works at a cost of Rs. 39.40 lakh under the NABARD scheme.

He also inspected the road laying works being undertaken at a cost of Rs. 82.85 lakh through the integrated revenue scheme and road works at a cost of Rs. 6.15 lakh under the NREGS scheme.
