Hat-trick by Mondal

HYDERABAD: A hat-trick by striker Mondal helped AOC Centre defeat EME Centre 4-0 in the super league phase of the SAAP-Budweiser Premier League football tournament here on Tuesday.

Mondal’s three goals helped AOC to lead 3-0 at half-time. In the second session, Dhule completed the tally for AOC.

Cosmopolitan Club beat NFC 4-1 in the ‘B’ division hockey league championship here on Tuesday.

J. Naresh (2), Rakesh and Kranti Yadav scored for Cosmopolitan while Laxmipathi reduced the margin for NFC.

SR Engineering beat Narayana Engineering by eight wickets in the seventh SR Champions Trophy inter-engineering cricket tournament at Warangal on Tuesday.
