Arogyasri a boon for the poor: official

Addanki: District Coordinator Sonar Babu has said Arogyasri scheme was a boon for poor people and asked them to make use of the scheme.

He was speaking at a Arogyasri health camp conducted at Santhamagulur PHC campus. He said nearly 9,494 operations were performed in Prakasam district since Arogysri scheme was launched and some Rs. 31.86 lakhs was spent under the scheme.

He said Kandukur, Markapuram and Chirala would come under this network scheme and there were 15 network hospitals in these places which were rendering yeoman service to the poor people scheme.
