Easy for Vijayanagara

Bangalore: Vijayanagara (Hospet) scored a flawless 38-0 victory against Naveen Shetty (Mangalore) to book a place in the quarterfinals of the State sub-junior under-13 basketball championships at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium courts here on Tuesday.

In the pre-quarterfinals, the Hospet side scored right from the start and in the end proved too good for the boys from Mangalore. The Naveen Shetty team failed to capitalise even on free throws and frittered away the match.
