NEW DELHI: India lost 3-0 to the second-seeded Korea in the third and final league match in group ‘D’ of the Asia-Oceania World under-14 boys’ tennis championship at Kuching, Malaysia, on Thursday. The seventh-seeded India finished second in the group and qualified for the quarterfinals, to be played on Friday, where it meets third-seeded Australia which had topped group ‘C’. In other quarterfinals, top-seeded Thailand will meet the sixth-seeded Uzbekistan, the fourth-seeded Japan will take on the eighth-seeded China and the Koreans will be challenged by the fifth-seeded Chinese Taipei. The top four teams from the zone qualify for the World Group finals to be staged later.
