In-service course for teachers

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A national-level in-service course for postgraduate teachers was inaugurated at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pallippuram, on Sunday.

The 12-day course is being attended by teachers from Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna and Silchar regions of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

B.K. Rai, DIGP (Medical), CRPF, Pallipuram, who inaugurated the programme, stressed the need for creating good faith in the minds of the students and teachers. P. Devakumar, education officer, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Chennai, and course director spoke on the objectives of the course. B. Ramachadran, Principal and associate course director, welcomed the gathering.
