The recent decision by the State government to hike the tuition fee in degree colleges is yet to set in with rumours doing the rounds that plans are on to hike the fee of engineering and medical colleges also.

Several universities have already made it a practice to hike the fee by 10 per cent every year.

How justified do you think this decision is?
