Ashok visits Volvo

BANGALORE: A delegation led by Transport Minister R. Ashok visited the Volvo Headquarters and facilities in Goteborg in Sweden and explored the possibilities of acquiring and incorporating the best global transport practices in Karnataka. They were received by the president of Volvo Bus Corporation Hakan Karlsson and other senior officials. The delegation members included Gaurav Gupta, Managing Director of KSRTC; M.K. Shankarlinge Gowda, Secretary, Department of Transport; Syed Zameer Pasha, Managing Director of BMTC; and Akash Passey, Managing Director of Volvo Buses India Private Ltd. — Staff Reporter
