Rotary Club to distribute artificial limbs

NIZAMABAD: Rotary Club of Nizamabad here on Wednesday conducted a medical camp for taking measurements of physically-challenged persons for providing them artificial limbs at its Artificial Limb Centre to be opened on the premises of district headquarter hospital on July 3.

About 40 patients arrived from different parts of the district underwent examinations for getting fixed the artificial limbs.

Blood donation

Later, in association with the Innerwall Club, the Rotary Club organised a blood donation camp in which 120 members donated blood.

The club also honoured senior doctors and Charted Accountants in connection with the Doctors’ Day and Charted Accountants’ Day today. Rotary Club president Rajiv Puri, secretary V. Srinivas Rao and past District Governor Goutham participated.
