Drop in power demand in Delhi

NEW DELHI: The fall in temperature following the arrival of the monsoon has brought down the demand for power in the Capital. The peak load on the system on Thursday was 3,783 MW.

There was relief from power cuts in most parts of Delhi except in a few areas where local faults resulted in load-shedding.
