Man shoots elder brother, nephew

Kaushambi: A man shot dead his elder brother and nephew allegedly over land dispute here, police sources on Friday said.

Shyam Chandan shot dead his brother Ram Chandan (50) and nephew Balram (20) with his licensed gun in Kath village on Thursday evening, they said.

Police said that Shyam Chandan was having a dispute with his elder brother over land and added that on Thursday both the parties had a heated exchange over it.

The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem, while the accused is absconding, police said.
