Digvijay Singh hails Railway budget

Bhopal: Congress general secretary and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Digvijay Singh on Friday hailed the railway budget presented by Union Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee.

In a statement, Mr. Singh said that the budget was in the interest of the common man and lauded the decision not to increase passenger fares.

He said that the bugdet also made attempts to provide proper security for women and added that the introduction of non-stop trains was a welcome step.
