‘Pay salary of teachers by cheque’

Bijapur: V.A. Machaknur, Additional Commissioner of Public Instruction, has warned the managements of private unaided schools that if they failed to pay salaries to teachers by cheques, their schools would be de-recognised. Qualified teachers should be appointed and their service registers should be maintained properly. Teachers in unaided schools should be given the benefits enjoyed by the teachers in aided schools, he added. — Staff Correspondent
