Shemaroo Entertainment has released three DVDs.
They are, “Heavy Metal - Louder than Life”, “Punk Attitude” and “Hype”.
The content has been licensed from Fremantle Media.
The films feature the evolution of the respective music genres.
“Heavy Metal-Louder than Life” focusses on Metal’s influence and listeners’ loyalty to bands such as Metallica, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Megadeth, and Twisted Sister. The DVD is priced at Rs. 499.
“Punk Attitude” is directed by Don Letts, a musician and a witness to the Punk phenomenon. The DVD features legendary bands such as Ramones, Sex Pistols, MC5, New York Dolls, etc., You can also watch live performances and interviews with the band members.
The DVDs are available at select stores across the country.
