Engineer’s assets worth over Rs.70 lakh unearthed

HYDERABAD: Simultaneous searches by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Saturday resulted in unearthing of assets worth over Rs.70 lakh belonging to Dasara Raju, Executive Engineer, Andhra Pradesh Health and Medical Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation, Tirupati.

A press release issued by ACB here said the searches were conducted at the residence of Raju and of his friend in Tirupati urban and rural areas.

The total assets unearthed included seven plots in Tirupati rural and Tirupati urban, a duplex house at Tirupati, three acres in Tirupati rural, three two-wheelers, 640 gm gold, one kg silver.

The LIC premium worth Rs.1.14 lakh, bank balances of Rs.26,000 and household articles worth Rs.3.86 lakh were also unearthed.
