Federal Bank facility

Kochi: The Federal Bank has introduced EFEE (e-fee) through which education fees can be remitted through select branches. The scheme is operational in six institutions including the Amal Jyothi Engineering College, Kanjirappally. More institutions are expected to join the scheme in the coming days, a bank press release said.

Vehicle check-up campaign

Kochi: Tata Motors is organising a free monsoon check-up campaign for passenger cars and utility vehicles in various cities. The campaign in the State will be on till July 20. The campaign will focus on parts that are critical during rain like wiper blades, wiper motor, external lights etc. Discounts will be available on anti-rust/exterior enrichment treatment, a press release issued here recently said. — Special Correspondent

Emirates gesture

KOCHI: Emirates has announced incentives like extra baggage allowance and special discounted fares for Kochi students aspiring to study in the United Kingdom. Emirates had introduced ‘special return economy class fares’ for students travelling from Kochi to key destinations in the United Kingdom starting at Rs.20,990. The offer is valid till September 20.

‘Buy and lease out’ projects

Kochi: Holy Faith, a builder, is to launch ‘buy and lease out’ projects in the State, according to company managing director Sany Francis. The project ‘Log Inn,’ coming up at Kakkanad, is nearing structural completion and will be launched in 2011.
