VIJAYAWADA: East Godavari’s R. Shalini and West Godavari’s S. Priyanka emerged joint leaders with three points after three rounds in the girls’ section of the AP State under-11 chess tournament at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan hall at Tadepalligudem, according to information reaching here on Saturday. Three players — Priyamvada, S. Kavya and Sanjana are trailing with 2.5 points apiece. In the boys’ section, Hyderabad’s Prathush Srivastav, Sai Agni Jeevethash, N. Krishna Teja, Raghav Srivastav, Visakhapatnam’s M.S.S.V. Vivek and V. Pranavanand are in the joint lead with three points.
