Man found hanging at home

VISAKHAPATNAM: A married man committed suicide allegedly after being scorned by his wife.

G. Appala Raju, 26, of Kailasapuram married Nagamani five years ago.

He was a manual labourer while his wife was employed with a private firm. She reportedly used to look down upon him due to his poor earning capacity.

A few days ago she went back to her parental home after a tiff with him.

Appala Raju was found hanging from the ceiling fan hook at his house on Saturday.

The couple has a four-year-old son. Fifth Town police are investigating the case.

Porno CDs seized

The City Task Force police conducted a raid on a DVD shop at Sagarnagar on Saturday and seized 18 blue film CDs.

The owner B. Prasanna Kumar was arrested.

CTF SI s Anand Reddy and Tirupathi Rao conducted the raid.
