Week 32 July 6th to July 11th Day 1 - This or That?: - We have all had various ambitions when we were younger. We thought differently and wanted different things from life. So what were your ambitions at that age? Give us a brief account of all that you wanted to do and how your aspirations changed with time. Day 2 - Unwanted: - If you are asked to remove one thing from this world, what would you choose to remove? It could be a person, thing, feeling or anything you can think of. Write an essay telling us what you would want to get rid of and why. Day 3 - Welcome: - Select an instrument or a machine that you have been using for a while. Now imagine a person has to use the same instrument/machine for the first time and knows nothing about it. Write a short manual explaining the different parts of the machine, how to get started and how to use it efficiently. Day 4 - In Charge: - In truly filmy style imagine that you get to be the Chief Minister for a day. Give us a detailed account of what you would do throughout the day to change the face of the state quickly and efficiently. Day 5 - What’s New? : - This is the time to look beyond the obvious when it comes to choosing careers. We have all grown up knowing and hearing about several established positions to aspire to, but there are several new and upcoming opportunities out there which we know little about. Find out about one or more opportunities in your area of interest and put together as much information as you can find about them. Widen your horizons and you may find something new that will truly excite you. Day 6 - Debate: - Think about both sides of the following statement. Write a short passage supporting the argument and another passage opposing it. It is useless to dream about what we cannot get. Modules prepared by SkillSpark
