Counselling for pursuing studies abroad held
An interactive educational counselling session was organised at the Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering (LBRCE) by the representatives of the British Council, Chennai, L. Dhanasekaran and S. Jayakumar for the final year B.Tech students. The opportunities to pursue higher studies in the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe were explained. irector, B. Ramana, Vice Principal, B.V.S. Prasad, Head, CSSP and other faculty members of various departments participated in the event.
The State-level university advisory committee meeting of the National Service Scheme of the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences was held on the university campus recently in the presence of Vice-Chancellor A.V. Krishnam Raju. Dr. Raju said that the NSS activities were necessary for motivating the students. Registrar T. Venugopala Rao, regional NSS assistant programme advisor K. Rajendran, state liaison officer G. Bhasker Rao and others were present. University coordinator M.L. Naidu welcomed the members.
The Computers and Visual Communication Department of Andhra Loyola College organised the Freshers’ Day celebrations recently. Speaking on the occasion, principal Rex Angelo said that the students should devote their time for studies and acquisition of knowledge.
