Labneh

A Middle Eastern speciality, made by draining the whey from yoghurt, yielding a fresh creamy, cheese with a slightly sour taste.

It is usually served with olive oil and dried mint. Labneh is often eaten as a snack with pita bread. It also makes an excellent spread for sandwiches.
