LJP to contest ten seats in Jharkhand

Patna: LJP President Ramvilas Paswan on Tuesday said his party would have an alliance with the RJD, CPI and CPI(M) in Jharkhand Assembly elections and contest for ten of the total 81 seats.

LJP would put up its candidates from Rajmahal, Ranchi, Sindri, Dhanbad, Borio, Barhi, Mandu, Raj Dhanbar, Chatarpur and Chandankyari Assembly constituencies, Mr. Paswan told reporters here.

Mr. Paswan said he made the announcement after consultations with the RJD chief, Lalu Prasad and leaders of the Left parties.
