Developing scientific spirit

Enthusiastic: Students at the science exhibition in Mysore on Friday.

Mysore: A large number of students participated in the science exhibition at St. Joseph’s School near the government guest house here on Friday. The enthusiasm with which the participants took part showed the interest the schoolchildren had in science. There was a variety of science models on display and the participants were seen explaining to the visitors what their models were and what aspect of life they were trying to understand.

Bishop of Mysore Thomas Vazhapilly inaugurated the exhibition. Block Education Officer North Shivarame Gowda, senior journalist Rajshekar Koti, Rev. Mari Joseph and others were present.

Mr. Shivarame Gowda said that science exhibition helps develop scientific temperament among the schoolchildren.
