‘Ministers busy politicking and not bothered about the common man’ BANGALORE: Claiming that the State administration had come to a standstill in view of the crisis gripping the BJP in the State, the Janata Dal (Secular) sought the resignation of B.S. Yeddyurappa-led Government. Party spokesman and former Minister M. Raghupathy said the Chief Minister as well as the Ministers, who were in both the warring camps of the BJP, were away in New Delhi. “The administration has come to a standstill. Ministers are busy politicking. They are not bothered about the common man,” he told The Hindu. He said Governor H.R. Bhardwaj should take note of the situation and take steps. Meanwhile, party MLC Y.S.V. Datta said the Janata Dal (Secular) was not in touch with any of the BJP leaders. “Neither have they approached us nor have we contacted them,” he said. Mr. Datta said the Janata Dal (Secular) had adopted a “wait and watch” policy. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
