Rathore wins WGI title

BANGALORE: Sumit Rathore emerged as champion in the 11 to 15 handicap category of the World Golfers Invitation championship held at Marbella, Spain, from October 24 to 31.

Rathore, who represented the country, is the captain of the Karnataka Golf Association.

Golfers from 34 nations took part in the stroke-play event.
