Accused escapes

VANIYAMBADI: An accused who was lodged in Vaniyambadi sub-jail, escaped on Thursday after throwing chilly powder at a policeman.

According to police, Mubharak had 10 cases of theft filed against him. He was arrested on October 23 for the theft of a two-wheeler. He escaped while he was being brought back from court.
