Elephant tramples farmer to death

Tiruvannamalai: A wild elephant belonging to a herd that entered the hillside village of Vettagiripalayam near Sandhavasal trampled a farmer to death. The State government has sanctioned a sum of Rs.one lakh to the victim’s family .
